The E+H Ceragel CPS71D pH sensor is a single-rod measuring cell designed for chemical processes, and hygienic and sterile applications with an ion trap for poison-resistant reference. The CPS71D has a contamination-resistant gel that guarantees stable measurement even in flowing media or low conductivity. The sensor is sterilizable, autoclavable and non-toxic. It is suitable for clean-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP) operations, and resists strong acids and bases and high organic loads. The sensor features certified biocompatibility, no cytotoxicity, and is free from animal-based materials and acrylamide.
The CPS71D features digital Memosens technology enabling greater process and data safety, easy handling, and predictive maintenance. The non-contact inductive signal transmission eliminates problems associated with moisture, such as corrosion and distortion. The intrinsically safe electronics allow application in hazardous areas. Since measured values are transmitted digitally, data is free from interference and errors are immediately detected. Sensors with Memosens technology also have integrated electronics that store calibration data and operating information, allowing for calibration separately from the measuring point and protected from the effects of weather. Maintenance intervals can be defined based on all stored sensor load and calibration data.
